The Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health seeks a fellowship trained urologist to join an established program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at UW Health hospitals and clinics in and around Madison, Wisconsin. UW Health is the clinical leader in Wisconsin, and the Department of Urology is nationally recognized for its outstanding clinical and academic programs.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a robust clinical practice in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. This includes evaluating patients in clinic, performing urodynamic studies, performing incontinence procedures and complex, state-of-the-art surgery. Other expectations are developing a clinical research focus and sharing findings through publications and professional society meetings, as well as training medical students, residents, and fellows. Departmental and institutional service appropriate to rank are also expected. MD and completion of a urology residency and fellowship are required. Additional training specifically in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery is preferred. Applicants are required to have or be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license, as all as have American Board of Urology certification or eligibility.
