1- to 2-Year Fellowship focused on the management of urinary tract structural and functional abnormalities secondary to the treatment of oncologic disease.
The experience prepares the trainee for the evaluation and management of complex incontinence, voiding dysfunction, fistula and urinary tract obstruction. The trainee will receive abundant exposure in urodynamics, neurourology, male incontinence and urinary diversion.
Experience in female pelvic medicine and sexual dysfunction will be gained with emphasis on patients with ongoing or prior breast cancer history and/or gynecological malignancy. The fellowship is integrated with the gynecologic oncology, benign gynecology, colorectal and plastic surgery services with consistent operative and research collaboration.
Fellows planning on engaging in a two year training program are strongly encouraged to participate in the University of Texas Clinical Research Curriculum or Masters Level Degree Program.
