Program Offers

We accept one Fellow per year for each of the 2 programs:
2-Year Fellowship for Urology
3-Year Fellowship for OB/GYN

Fellows trained each year: 2 for Urology, 3 for ObGyn

Application Process: ERAS

The USC Institute of Urology at the Keck School of Medicine is proud to offer a combined, ACGME-accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) in conjunction with the Department of OB/GYN Fellows, will spend time at Keck Hospital of USC, LAC+USC Medical Center and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, an internationally recognized rehab facility. They will work directly with the full-time academic faculty on both the private and county hospital services, as well as with the residents and interns on the service. Fellows will spend time in the operating room, clinic and urodynamic lab at the various hospitals and clinics.

The fellow is appointed as a Resident Physician year (V, VI, VII) and will have appropriate responsibilities to help staff cases at Keck Hospital of USC, LAC+USC Medical Center and Rancho Los Amigos. The fellow is also expected to contribute academically through participation in teaching rounds and through involvement in a variety of clinical research projects that are available.

Tips for Applicants:

  • Must be eligible for licensure in California.
  • Candidates apply in their penultimate year of residency through ERAS (December cycle).

  • We require 3 letters of recommendation, and one must come from your residency program director or your department chair.

Requirements: Must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in urology or ob/gyn. Please submit all application materials before March 31, 2019.

Program Length: This program requires three years for ObGyn fellows and two years for Urology fellows.
