Program Offers

Emory University offers a multidisciplinary ACGME accredited Fellowship program for qualified (BE/BC) candidates who have completed a residency in either urology or obstetrics and gynecology. During the two year curriculum for urologists and 3 years for OB/GYNs, the trainee will be provided with diverse clinical, research, and teaching opportunities in female urology, urogynecology, colorectal surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. Specifically, we offer a large surgical volume inclusive of vaginal, abdominal, robotic, and laparoscopic approaches to pelvic reconstructive surgery. The program also provides extensive training in the diagnosis, evaluation, and non-surgical management of female pelvic floor disorders. There are opportunities to participate in clinical, basic science, and/or translational research projects related to female pelvic floor disorders. Opportunities to gain exposure in geriatrics and pelvic floor physical therapy are also available. For qualified candidates, there are opportunities to pursue a Master of Science in Clinical Research.
