SUFU in conjunction with the SUFU Foundation is pleased to support and fund grants in the area of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery. The objective of the grants are to support the development of urologists in training and junior faculty.
Foundation research funds are made available to SUFU members (either the PI or a member of the research team needs to be a SUFU member). The Goal of a SUFU Foundation research grant is to support the development of residents, fellows and junior faculty and to support research that will have a positive impact on FPMRS. Completed research projects are required to be submitted for publication and presentation at a corresponding SUFU Winter Meeting.

Applications will be accepted from residents, fellows and junior faculty (<5 years since completion of training) pertaining to:
Study of Neuromodulation funded by Medtronic
The study may be basic science or clinical in nature, with relevance to SUFU members. The principal investigator, co-investigator or mentor must be a SUFU member. The projects should be designed and conducted primarily by the resident, fellow (research must be substantially completed during training) or junior faculty submitting the proposal.

SUFU Research Grant
SUFU is pleased to announce the SUFU funded research grant! The grant opportunity is for any SUFU member, post training and in good standing, regardless of years in practice. Residents and fellows are not eligible to apply for the SUFU Grant. The principal investigator or co-investigator must be a SUFU member. The projects should be clinical in nature and have relevance to SUFU member.
The 2022 Grant submission deadline for all grants is October 31, 2022. Grants are not eligible for multiple funding and must be submitted to only one grant opportunity.
All grants are required to present their finding at a corresponding SUFU Winter meeting with manuscript submission to Neurourology and Urodynamics. Payment of grant will be through installments pending demonstration of successful progress of research.
